‘Join me at Flameback Eco Lodge – a Sri Lankan sanctuary where five-star luxury meets nature – for a week long retreat to rebalance, restore and explore.
Nestled amidst a bird sanctuary by the tranquil Weerawila lake, this peaceful setting invites us to slow down, take a breath, and just be. With an itinerary that perfectly balances exploration and relaxation, this retreat offers an immersion into yoga, nature and authentic Sri Lankan life that will leave you inspired and rejuvenated in equal measure.
We will rise and shine with an uplifting Vinyasa Flow practice before nourishing ourselves with delectable cuisine sourced from local communities.
With an amazing array of activities planned – including an Elephant safari, bird watching nature tour, scrumptious cookery demonstrations and local craft making – we’ll indulge our senses and explore new horizons before taking a well-earned rest – enjoying lunch, relaxing by the pool and taking massages in the Spa.
As the sun sets we will reconvene with blissful Yin yoga and meditation before enjoying another specially crafted feast from our Resident Chef. This 5 night/6 day retreat can be tailored to all abilities, to both support and challenge you on your yoga journey.
I sincerely look forward to hosting you on what will be an incredible experience.
Jessamin x’
Jessamin’s movement journey began in the mid-2000s with a fulfilling international career as a professional dancer and performer in theatre, film and opera. During this time she started integrating yoga into her daily dance training, as a method of grounding, energising and realigning the body while on tour.
Jessamin went on to study intensively with leading Vinyasa Flow teachers Claire Missingham, Shiva Rea and Abby Hoffmann, culminating in her becoming a Yoga Alliance certified yoga teacher with over 400 hours of training behind her. She now teaches yoga to professional dancers, surfers and yoga students around the world.
Jessamin’s creative and mindfully choreographed vinyasa flow sequencing weaves together deep, alignment-focussed asana (postures) and pranayama (breathing techniques) with hands- on-assists, heavenly scents and soulful sounds, leaving students grounded and uplifted in equal measure.
Jessamin moved to S.W. Sri Lanka in 2016 where she leads retreats, workshops and private classes, in between international tours as a dancer and teacher.
